Biggleswade Town 2-1 Uxbridge FC

Biggleswade Town 2 Uxbridge Fc 1

Stuart Lochhead scored a late winner for Biggleswade in a closely fought contest against Uxbridge.
Chances were hard to come by for both sides in the opening half an hour but Uxbridge came closest when they had a Mark Dennison header ruled out for offside. However there was eventually a breakthrough when Dennison crossed for Craig Moore to tap in and give the visitors the lead in the 42nd minute.
After the break Biggleswade responded immediately when Brett Donnelly turned and shot to score from inside the six yard box. Uxbridge missed the chance to take the lead back when Jermaine Gumbs missed an open goal. With the game looking like a draw Paul Barnes found Lochhead in the box who then curled home an 85th minute winner for Biggleswade.
